Abstract

Muhammad Daffa Zahran Widodo, Relasi Jaringan Aktor dalam Pembentukan Minat Peserta Didik untuk Melanjutkan Studi ke Pendidikan Tinggi (Studi Kasus: SMAN 2 Cibinong), Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran dan jaringan aktor yang ada dalam membentuk minat peserta didik SMAN 2 Cibinong Kabupaten Bogor untuk melanjutkan studi ke pendidikan tinggi. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah memahami bagaimana jaringan aktor di sekolah bekerja secara kolektif dalam menginisiasi program-program yang dapat meningkatkan minat peserta didik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori jaringan aktor Bruno Latour dan konsep pembentukan minat menurut Slameto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan September hingga November pada tahun 2024 di SMAN 2 Cibinong yang berlokasi di Jl. Karadenan No. 5, Karadenan, Kecamatan Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tujuh informan yang memiliki peran strategis dalam proses pembentukan minat peserta didik, yakni dua Wakil Kepala Sekolah, satu Ketua Penjamin Mutu, satu Guru Bimbingan Konseling, dan satu Kepala Manajemen Data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi di lokasi penelitian, serta dokumentasi yang diperoleh dari informan maupun dokumentasi langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SMAN 2 Cibinong memiliki peran aktif dalam membentuk minat peserta didik untuk melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi melalui tiga program utama, yaitu Program Campus Expo, Program Bimbingan Belajar Ekstra/Pengayaan, dan Program Mentoring Alumni. Program-program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan jumlah peserta didik yang diterima di perguruan tinggi nasional. Pada tahun 2018, berdasarkan data penerimaan peserta didik SMAN 2 Cibinong di perguruan tinggi, 90% peserta didik SMAN 2 Cibinong berhasil diterima di perguruan tinggi nasional dan pada tahun 2021 sekolah ini masuk dalam peringkat tujuh besar SMA Negeri terbaik di Provinsi Jawa Barat berdasarkan nilai UTBK. Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan bahwa jaringan aktor yang terbentuk di lingkungan sekolah berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung keberlanjutan pendidikan peserta didik ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. This study aims to describe the roles and networks of actors involved in shaping students’ interest at SMAN 2 Cibinong, Bogor Regency, in pursuing higher education. The main focus of this research is to understand how the network of actors within the school collectively works to initiate programs that can enhance students’ interest in continuing their education to a higher level. The study employs Bruno Latour’s actor-network theory and Slameto’s concept of interest formation. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted from September to November 2024 at SMAN 2 Cibinong, located at Jl. Karadenan No. 5, Karadenan, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The study's subjects consist of seven key informants who play strategic roles in shaping students' interest: two Vice Principals, one Head of Quality Assurance, one Guidance and Counseling Teacher, and one Head of Data Management. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews, on-site observations, and documentation obtained from informants as well as direct documentation. The findings of this study indicate that SMAN 2 Cibinong actively contributes to shaping students' interest in pursuing higher education through three main programs: the Campus Expo Program, the Extra Tutoring/Enrichment Program, and the Alumni Mentoring Program. These programs have proven to be effective in increasing the number of students accepted into national universities. In 2018, 90% of SMAN 2 Cibinong students were successfully admitted to national universities, and in 2021, the school ranked among the top seven public high schools in West Java based on UTBK scores. This success demonstrates that the network of actors within the school significantly contributes to creating an environment that supports students’ educational continuity to a higher level.
