Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by the Canva on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Mulyaharja 1, Bogor. The method used is a Post-Test Only Control Group Design experiment, with two sample groups: the experimental class using the PjBL model assisted by Canva and the control class using the STAD type Cooperative Learning model assisted by the Wordwall. Learning outcomes are measured using a posttest in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data obtained were analyzed using independent t-tests and effect size. The results of the study show that the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by Canva has a significant effect on improving learning outcomes, with the experimental class posttest score (89.64) being higher than the control class (82). The t-test shows a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.008 ≤ 0.05, indicating a significant difference. Additionally, the effect size of 0.84 indicates a large impact. These findings are consistent with previous studies that show PjBL with digital media, such as Canva, can be integrated and have an impact on improving Pancasila Education learning outcomes. Therefore, the application of the PjBL model assisted by Canva is recommended as an effective alternative in teaching Pancasila Education in elementary schools.
