Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi melalui strategi menulis terbimbing siswa kelas IV SDN Jatinegara 15 Pagi. Penelitian tindakan kelas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Kurt Lewin yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 29 siswa kelas IV-C SDN Jatinegara 15 Pagi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2024-2025. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa dengan menggunakan strategi menulis terbimbing. Pada siklus I terdapat 20 siswa yang tuntas dengan persentase sebesar 68,96%. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yakni mendapatkan persentase sebesar 100% atau seluruh siswa yang berjumlah 29 siswa tuntas dengan mendapatkan nilai ≥73. Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis adalah strategi menulis terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas IV-C SDN Jatinegara 15 Pagi. ***** This research aims to improve the skills of writing descriptive paragraph through guided writing strategy for grade IV students of SDN Jatinegara 15 Pagi. The classroom action research in this study uses the Kurt Lewin model which is carried out for two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study are 29 students of class IV-C SDN Jatinegara 15 Pagi. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Research data was obtained through tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the study showed that there was an improvement in students' descriptive paragraph writing skills by using guided writing strategies. In the first cycle, there were 20 students who completed with a percentage of 68.96%. In the second cycle, there was an increase, namely getting a percentage of 100% or all students totaling 29 students completed with a score of ≥73. The conclusion of the analysis results is that guided writing strategies can improve the skills of writing description paragraphs of students in grades IV-C SDN Jatinegara 15 Pagi.
