Abstract
Pemilihan media pembelajaran sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat membantu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan mudah. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan media pembelajaran website berbasis ArcGIS story maps yang diharapkan mampu membantu peserta didik memahami materi mitigasi kebakaran permukiman dengan baik karena media pembelajaran ArcGIS story maps mampu memuat narasi, gambar, dan peta dengan hasil akhir berupa website. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran website berbasis ArcGIS story maps. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Educational Design Research dengaan model Plomp & Nieveen yang akan dilakukan uji kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan. Dalam menguji kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan, peneliti menggunakan ahli materi dan ahli media, dan penilaian guru geografi, serta respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi materi memperoleh skor 91% dengan predikat sangat layak, hasil validasi media memperoleh skor 92% dengan predikat sangat layak. Penilaian guru geografi memperoleh skor 100% dengan kategori sangat layak. Kemudian respon peserta didik terbagi dalam dua kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar dengan masing-masing memperoleh skor 84% dengan kategori sangat layak oleh kelompok kecil, dan memperoleh skor 97% dengan kategori sangat layak oleh kelompok besar. Sehingga, berdasarkan hasil tersebut media pembelajaran website berbasis ArcGIS Story Maps mitigasi kebakaran permukiman sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah. ***** The selection of teaching media is very important in the learning process because it can help achieve learning objectives more easily. In this research, ArcGIS story maps based website learning media was developed, which is expected to help students understand the material on residential fire mitigation effectively, as the ArcGIS story maps media can incorporate narratives, images, and maps, with the final output being a website. The aim of this research is to develop a ArcGIS story maps based website learning media product. The research method used is Educational Design Research with the Plomp & Nieveen model, which will test the feasibility of the products developed. In testing the feasibility of the developed product, the researcher consulted material experts and media experts, geography teachers assessments, and student responses. The results of the research show that the material validation received a score of 91% with a "very feasible" rating, and the media validation received a score of 92% with a "very feasible" rating. The geography teacher's assessment received a score of 100% with a "very feasible" category. The students responses were divided into two groups, small and large, with the small group receiving a score of 84% categorized as very feasible and the large group receiving a score of 97% categorized as very feasible. Based on these results, the ArcGIS story maps based website learning media for residential fire mitigation is highly suitable for use as a teaching tool in schools.
