Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variasi gaya mengajar yang diterapkan oleh calon guru vokasional Jurusan Konstruksi Bangunan selama Praktik Keterampilan Mengajar (PKM) di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Guru vokasional diharapkan memiliki keterampilan yang sesuai guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta memenuhi kebutuhan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 48 mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas calon guru vokasional menerapkan gaya mengajar ahli (Expert) dengan persentase sebesar 35,42%. Selanjutnya, gaya mengajar otoritas (Formal Authority) digunakan oleh 27,08%, diikuti gaya model pribadi (Personal Model) sebesar 18,75%. Sementara itu, gaya fasilitator (Facilitator) diterapkan oleh 14,58% dan gaya delegator memiliki persentase paling rendah, yakni 4,17%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa calon guru vokasional cenderung mengutamakan pendekatan berbasis keahlian dan struktur pembelajaran yang ketat, sementara pendekatan yang mendorong kemandirian siswa masih minim. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk menyeimbangkan gaya mengajar agar lebih mendukung pembelajaran aktif dan mandiri. Pelatihan tambahan direkomendasikan guna meningkatkan variasi gaya mengajar calon guru vokasional. *****This study aims to analyze the variations in teaching styles implemented by prospective vocational teachers in the Building Construction Department during the Teaching Skills Practice (PKM) in the Building Engineering Education program. Vocational teachers are expected to possess the necessary skills to enhance student learning outcomes and meet the demands of the Business and Industrial World. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The research sample consists of 48 Building Engineering Education students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation and then analyzed using validity and reliability tests. The results show that the majority of prospective vocational teachers adopt the Expert teaching style, with a percentage of 35.42%. Furthermore, the Formal Authority teaching style is used by 27.08%, followed by the Personal Model style at 18.75%. Meanwhile, the Facilitator style is applied by 14.58%, and the Delegator style has the lowest percentage at 4.17%.These findings indicate that prospective vocational teachers tend to prioritize expertise-based and structured teaching approaches, while approaches that encourage student independence remain limited. Therefore, efforts are needed to balance teaching styles to better support active and independent learning. Additional training is recommended to enhance the variety of teaching styles among prospective vocational teachers.
