Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mendukung prestasi belajar dan mendeskripsikan gaya belajar peserta didik berprestasi akademik anggota organisasi sekolah di SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 8 anggota organisasi sekolah yang berprestasi secara akademik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Peserta didik yang merupakan anggota organisasi sekolah di SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta tetap dapat berprestasi secara akademik karena adanya faktor internal, eksternal dan pendekatan belajar yang mendukung peserta didik untuk tetap dapat berprestasi secara akademik. (2) Kecenderungan gaya belajar visual, audiotorial, dan kinestetik di antara peserta didik berbeda-beda, mayoritas gaya belajar yang digunakan oleh peserta didik berprestasi akademik yang menjadi anggota organisasi sekolah di SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta adalah gaya belajar audiotorial, diikuti gaya belajar visual, namun gaya belajar kinestetik tidak digunakan oleh peserta didik berprestasi. ***** This study aims to determine the factors that support learning achievement and describe the learning styles of students with academic achievement who are members of school organizations at SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The subjects in this study are 8th grade students who are members of school organizations who excel academically. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Students who are members of school organizations at SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta can still achieve academically because of internal factors, external factors and learning approach factors that support students to continue to achieve academically. (2) The tendency of visual, audiotorial, and kinesthetic learning styles among learners varies, the majority of learning styles used by academic achievement learners who are members of school organisations at SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta are audiotorial learning styles, followed by visual learning styles, but kinesthetic learning styles are not used by achievement learners.
