Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan utama untuk untuk menganalisis serta membuktikan pengaruh Grit terhadap OCB melalui motivasi dan kepuasan kerja. Data di analisa menggunakan SEM dari kuesioner yang diajukan terhadap 177 dosen berasal dari 12 Politeknik/Akademi di bawah Kementerian Perindustrian. Dosen yang dipilih adalah dosen tetap PNS dan memiliki sertifikasi dosen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan motivasi, kepuasan kerja dan Grit memiliki pengaruh terhadap OCB secara langsung. Selain itu secara langsung motivasi dan kepuasan kerja juga berkolerasi secara langsung terhadap Grit. Dan secara tidak langsung kepuasan kerja dan motivasi Grit mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap OCB. Hasil penelitian telah membuktikan bahwa kepuasan kerja adalah mediator terbaik Grit jika dibandingkan motivasi dalam mempengaruhi OCB. Oleh sebab itu, kebijakan pimpinan perguruan tinggi yang berada di bawah naungan Kementerian Perindustrian di Indonesia perlu untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kepuasan kerja para dosen guna meningkatkan OCB dosen. Kebijakan harus menciptakan kondisi pekerjaan dan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif agar menciptakan komitmen di antara karyawan dan pemimpin dapat mendorong dosen untuk lebih aktif membuat karya ilmiah dengan kompetensi yang mumpuni. The main objective of the study was to analyze and prove the influence of Grit on OCB through motivation and job satisfaction. Data were analyzed using SEM from questionnaires submitted to 177 lecturers from 12 Polytechnics/Academies under the Ministry of Industry. The lecturers selected were permanent civil servant lecturers and had lecturer certification. The results of the study showed that motivation, job satisfaction and Grit had a direct influence on OCB. In addition, motivation and job satisfaction also directly correlated directly with Grit. And indirectly, job satisfaction and Grit motivation were able to influence OCB. It has been confirmed that job satisfaction is the best mediator of Grit when compared to motivation in influencing OCB. Therefore, the policy of university leaders under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry in Indonesia needs to increase the motivation and job satisfaction of lecturers in order to increase lecturers' OCB. Policies must create conducive working conditions and work environments in order to create commitment among employees and leaders to encourage lecturers to be more active in creating scientific works with qualified emulations.
