Abstract
Sikap toleransi penting untuk dibangun sejak anak-anak berada di sekolah dasar karena pada masa tersebut merupakan periode krusial dalam perkembangan nilai-nilai moral dan sosial. Untuk menghadapi isu intoleransi di era globalisasi yang berpotensi memecah persatuan bangsa, diperlukan model pembelajaran inovatif dalam yang mendukung penguatan nilai keberagaman. Salah satunya adalah model Culturally Responsive Teaching. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model Culturally Responsive Teaching terhadap sikap toleransi siswa kelas V di kecamatan Tebet. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Postest Control Group Design dengan populasi meliputi siswa kelas V SDN Kebon Baru 09 dengan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 56 siswa meggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Prosedur penelitian membagi kelompok ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Hasil analisis uji-t menggunakan uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,020 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa H_0 ditolak, dan H_a diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model Culturally Responsive Teaching terhadap sikap toleransi siswa kelas V pada muatan Pendidikan Pancasila. Hal ini juga didukung dengan hasil uji N-Gain yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai N-Gain untuk kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi 0,17 dari kelas kontrol yang berarti bahwa model Culturally Responsive Teaching lebih baik dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi siswa. Kata kunci: toleransi, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Pendidikan Pancasila. ***** Attitude of tolerance is important to be built since kids are in elementary school because it is a crucial period in the development of moral and social values. To deal with the issues of tolerance in the globalization era that have the potential of dividing the nation’s unity, innovative learning models are needed in supporting the strengthening of diversity values. One of those model is Culturally Responsive Teaching. This study uses a quasi-experiment that aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Culturally Responsive Teaching model on the attitude of tolerance of 5th-grade students in Tebet District. The research design used is the Pretest Postest Control Group Design with a population including 5th-grade students of SDN Kebon Baru 09 with a sample of 56 students using the cluster random sampling technique. The research procedure divides the group into an experimental group and a control group. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. The results of the t-test analysis using the independent sample t-test obtained a sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.020 <0.05 which means that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. It is concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Culturally Responsive Teaching model on the attitude of tolerance of 5th-grade students in the content of Pancasila Education. This is also supported by the results of the N-Gain test which showed that the N-Gain value for the experimental class is 0.17 higher than the control class, which means that the Culturally Responsive Teaching model is better at developing students' attitude of tolerance.
