Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPA peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan model penelitian pretest posttest control design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V di SDN Petukangan Utara 01, Kelurahan Petukangan Utara, Jakarta Selatan. Pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling dari populasi yang ditetapkan yaitu SDN di Kelurahan Petukangan Utara. Terdapat dua rumble belajar, terpilih kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrument tes esai sejumlah 10 butir yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Instrumen tersebut juga diuji normalitas dan homogenitas dengan uji persyaratan data. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, didapat bahwa thitung = 21,54 ≥ ttabel = 1,99. Artinya bahwa hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis kerja (H1) diterima, yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPA kelas V SDN Petukangan Utara pada Materi Ekosistem yang Harmonis.*****This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the SSCS learning model on the science critical thinking abilities of fifth grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a pretest posttest control design research model. The sample in this study was all class V students at SDN Petukangan Utara 01, Petukangan Utara Subdistrict, South Jakarta. Samples were taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique from a determined population, namely Elementary Schools in Petukangan Utara Subdistrict. There were two learning rumbles, class VA was chosen as the experimental class and class VB as the control class. The experimental class uses the SSCS learning model and the control class uses the TPS learning model. Data collection was carried out using a 10 item essay test instrument which had been tested for validity and reliability. The instrument was also tested for normality and homogeneity with data requirements tests. Next, hypothesis analysis was carried out using the t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05, it was found that tcount = 21.54 ≥ ttable = 1.99. This means that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the working hypothesis (H1) is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the SSCS learning model on critical thinking skills in science class V at SDN Petukangan Utara on Harmonious Ecosystem Material.
