Abstract

Setiap tahunnya, tingkat pengangguran di kalangan lulusan perguruan tinggi terus meningkat. Situasi ini menjadi tantangan bagi mahasiswa sebagai calon tenaga kerja untuk mempersiapkan diri secara maksimal. Penguasaan soft skill dan hard skill serta peningkatan motivasi menjadi aspek penting yang perlu dikembangkan agar mahasiswa mampu bersaing dan beradaptasi di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melakukan analisis mengenai Soft Skill, Hard Skill dan Motivasi Terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini melibatkan 118 sampel Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Prodi S1 Manajemen dan S1 Pendidikan Ekonomi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan alat analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Soft skill berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir. (2) Hard skill berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir. (3) Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan untuk mengembangkan program yang mendukung peningkatan soft skill, penguatan hard skill, dan motivasi. Program ini dapat mencakup pelatihan praktis, workshop, serta kolaborasi dengan dunia industri untuk memberikan gambaran nyata tentang tantangan dunia kerja, sehingga membantu mempersiapkan individu secara lebih baik.***** Every year, the unemployment rate graduates continues to increase. This situation is a challenge for students as prospective workers to prepare themselves optimally. Mastery of soft skills and hard skills and increasing motivation are important aspects that need to be developed so that students are able to compete and adapt in the world of work. This study aims to analyze Soft Skills, Hard Skills and Motivation towards the Work Readiness of Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Jakarta. This study involved 118 samples of Final Year Students of S1 Management and S1 Education Study Programs, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jakarta. The study used a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires. The data obtained analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool. The results of this indicate that (1) Soft skills have a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of final year students. (2) Hard skills have a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of final year students. (3) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of final year students. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to develop programs that support the improvement of soft skills, strengthening hard skills, and motivation. This program can include practical training, workshops, as well as collaboration with the industrial world to provide a real picture of the challenges of the world of work, thus helping to better prepare individuals.
