Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada muatan ilmu pengetahuan alam kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ciracas 13 Pagi Jakarta Timur terpilih sebagai sampel dengan jumlah responden 30 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis sebanyak 13 soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t, diperoleh hasil thitung sebesar 2,8424 > ttabel 1,671 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring dalam muatan ilmu pengetahuan alam berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Dengan demikian, strategi pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of learning strategies Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring on students' critical thinking skills on the content of natural science class V Elementary School. The study was conducted in January 2020. The method used was an experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampling using Simple Random Sampling technique. Ciracas 13 Morning Elementary School, East Jakarta was selected as a sample with a total of 30 student respondents. Data collection techniques used the instrument of critical thinking skills as many as 13 questions. Data analysis techniques using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, tcount obtained 2.8424 > ttable 1.671 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that the learning strategies Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring in the charge of natural science have a positive effect on critical thinking skills Grade V students of Primary School. Thus, learning strategies Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring can be used as an alternative learning in improving students' critical thinking skills.
