Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti gambaran kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Majasari. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya siswa dengan hasil belajar yang kurang baik dalam bidang akademik maupun non akademik, minimnya ketidakhadiran siswa di sekolah, sering menunda pekerjaan sekolah. Sebanyak 230 peserta didik berpartisipasi menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non propabillity sampling, dengan teknik purposive sampling, dan instrumen kemandirian belajar digunakan untuk pengumpulan data. Adapun hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas 8 optimal. Jika dilihat dari hasil yang telah didapatkan peserta didik perempuan lebih unggul dengan persentase 56,5%, daripada peserta didik laki-laki dengan persentase 43,4%. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Majasari optimal dengan adanya kegiatan-kegiatan sekolah yang melibatkan peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Kemandirian, Belajar, Peserta didik ***** This research aims to examine the picture of student’s learning independence at SMP Negeri Majasari. This research is motivated by the existence of students with poor learning outcomes in both academic and non-academic fields, minimal student absences from school, which often hinder school work. A total of 230 students participated as respondents in tis research. Determining the sample in this study used non probability sampling, with a purposive sampling technique, and the learning independence instrument was used for data collection. The results of the research show that the learning independence of grade 8 students is optimal. If you look at the results obtained, famele students are superior with a percentage of 65.5%, compared to male students with a percentage of 43.4%. thus, it can be stated that the learning independence of students at SMP Negeri 1 Majasari is optimal with school activities that involve students.
