Abstract
RACHEL TANNISA MAGDALENA. 2025. Media Snowman dalam Pembelajaran Materi Notasi Balok pada Kelas Piano Anak di Sami Arpeggio Music School Cipayung. Jurusan Pendidikan Musik Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menggunakan media snowman dalam mengajarkan materi notasi balok yang diimplementasikan dalam kelas piano anak di Sami Arpeggio Music School Cipayung. Media snowman dirancang sebagai alat bantu visual dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap notasi balok yang berbentuk cerita imajinatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media snowman mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan, interaktif, dan efektif. Media visual snowman membantu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca serta memahami notasi balok. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, media ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif dalam proses pembelajaran piano anak khususnya pada pemahaman materi notasi balok. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media snowman dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pengajaran notasi balok pada kelas piano anak. Diharapkan, pengembangan lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kebermanfaatan media ini pada berbagai tingkat pembelajaran musik lainnya. The Snowman Media in Teaching Staff Notation in Children’s Piano Classes at Sami Arpeggio Music School Cipayung. Department of Music Education Faculty of Languages and Arts, Jakarta State University. This study aims to describe the learning process using the snowman media in teaching staff notation, implemented in children’s piano classes at Sami Arpeggio Music School Cipayung. The snowman media is designed as a visual and interactive aid to enhance students understanding of staff notation through imaginative storytelling. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study show that the snowman media can create a more enjoyable, interactive, and effective learning environment. This visual snowman media helps improve students ability to read and comprehend staff notation. Based on the research conducted, this media has proven to have a positive impact on the learning process of children’s piano, particularly in understanding staff notation concepts. The study concludes that the snowman media can serve as an innovative alternative for teaching staff notation in children’s piano classes.
