Abstract
ABSTRACT The title of this study is Developemnt of English for hotel and tourism learning model by using project based learning through blended learning. The aim of this study is developing English for hotel and turism learning model by using project based learning through blended learning. The research was carried out at Universitas Bina Darma. The research method used is Research and Development or R & D using the Dick and Carey Model, with mix method. Data was collected from the analysis of student and lecturer needs, data was obtained through online questionnaires, and to get more detailed information, deep interview was applied. Furthermore, an instrument in the form of a validation sheet carried out by experts (content experts, IT Experts) is used to determine the feasibility of the English for hotel and tourism learning model based on project-based learning (PjBL) through the learning management system. The writer the designed English for hotel and tourism learning model by using project based learning through blended learning and applied it in the class. The field trial result show that the learning model are feasible. the result of effectiveness test show that Significant correlation was 0,000 it means significant at level 0,001. There was a significant improvement in students’ scores from pre-test (55.44) to post-test (63.24), suggesting that the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through Blended Learning model effectively enhanced English proficiency.
