Abstract

Pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal merupakan hal penting yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik selaku remaja yang tumbuh sebagai harapan bangsa dalam upaya menjaga kesehatan tubuh agar di masa depan tubuh tetap dapat bekerja dengan baik dan terhidari dari berbagai gangguan atau penyakit terutama yang dapat menyerang ginjal. Pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal yang diberikan kepada peserta didik bertujuan untuk membekali peserta didik agar bisa berperilaku baik dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit ginjal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal dengan perilaku pencegahan penyakit ginjal pada peserta didik SMA. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal sebagai variabel bebas dan perilaku pencegahan penyakit ginjal sebagai variabel terikat. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan 72 responden. Pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal diukur menggunakan tes pilihan ganda dan perilaku pencegahan penyakit ginjal diukur dengan kuesioner. Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji koefisien korelasi menggunakan Pearson Product Moment diperoleh hasil 0,340 menunjukkan bahwa korelasi berada pada tingkat rendah. Pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal memberikan kontribusi sebesar 11,56% pada perilaku pencegahan penyakit ginjal. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pengetahuan struktur dan fungsi ginjal dengan perilaku pencegahan penyakit ginjal. ***** Knowledge of the structure and function of the kidneys is an important thing that must be possessed by students as teenagers who grow up as the hope of the nation in an effort to maintain a healthy body so that in the future the body can continue to work well and avoid various disorders or diseases, especially those that can attack the kidneys. The knowledge of kidney structure and function provided to students aims to equip students to be able to behave well in efforts to prevent kidney disease. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of kidney structure and function and behavior to prevent kidney disease in high school students. This research method is descriptive with a correlational research type with knowledge of kidney structure and function as the independent variable and behavior to prevent kidney disease as the dependent variable. Samples are determined by technique purposive sampling so that 72 respondents were obtained. Knowledge of kidney structure and function was measured using a multiple choice test and kidney disease prevention behavior was measured using a questionnaire. The prerequisite test results show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. Correlation coefficient test results using Pearson Product Moment The result obtained was 0.340, indicating that the correlation is at a low level. Knowledge of kidney structure and function contributes 11.56% to kidney disease prevention behavior. Based on this research, it was concluded that there was a positive relationship between knowledge of kidney structure and function and behavior to prevent kidney disease.
