Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kepribadian tokoh utama, Alma, pada film Ich bin dein Mensch menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud yang meliputi id, ego, dan superego. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deksriptif. Tujuannya adalah mengetahui bagaimana ketiga unsur ini muncul dalam kepribadian Alma serta memengaruhi cara berpikir, bersikap, dan mengambil keputusan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap data yang berasal dari film Ich bin dein Mensch yang diklasifikasikan menjadi data-data berupa dialog, monolog, pemikiran tokoh serta adegan-adegan dalam film tersebut yang berkaitan dengan tokoh utama Alma. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 39 data yang dianalisis mengenai tokoh utama Alma, diidentifikasi 60 unsur kepribadian yang terbagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu id, ego, dan superego. Dari ketiganya, ego muncul paling banyak, yaitu 22 kali, diikuti oleh id sebanyak 21 kali, dan superego sebanyak 17 kali. Ego mencerminkan sikap rasional dan bertanggung jawab, id melambangkan hasrat serta kecenderungan impulsif, sedangkan superego mewakili nilai moral yang membatasi tindakannya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga unsur kepribadian id, ego, dan superego meskipun sering bertentangan, berpadu membentuk kepribadian dinamis tokoh utama Alma. Dominasi ego mencerminkan sikap rasional dan bertanggung jawab, id memengaruhi keinginan kuat akan kasih sayang sekaligus kecenderungan impulsif, sedangkan superego berperan sebagai kontrol moral yang mengarahkan Alma untuk menahan diri dan bertindak sesuai norma. Dengan demikian, kepribadian Alma merupakan hasil perpaduan antara dorongan naluriah, kendali moral, dan pertimbangan rasional. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The purpose is to explore how these three aspects appear in Alma’s personality and how they influence her way of thinking, behavior, and decision-making. The data is taken from the film Ich bin dein Mensch and includes dialogues, monologues, character thoughts, and scenes related to Alma. The results show that from 39 data samples about Alma, 60 personality elements were found and categorized into id, ego, and superego. Among them, the ego appears most frequently (22 times), followed by the id (21 times), and the superego (17 times). The ego represents rational and responsible actions, the id reflects desires and impulsive behavior, while the superego represents moral values that control actions. In conclusion, the research shows that although the id, ego, and superego often conflict, together they shape Alma’s dynamic personality. The dominant ego shows Alma’s rational and responsible nature. The id influences her strong need for affection and impulsive actions, while the superego guides her to act according to moral and social norms.
