Abstract
PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MENULIS CERPEN BERBASIS ETNOPEDAGOGI DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA/MA Indriani Limbong Program Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar keterampilan menulis cerita pendek berbasis etnopedagogi dengan pendekatan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) bagi siswa kelas XI SMA Pelangi Kasih Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menemukan ide menulis dan guru belum menggunakan pendekatan yang optimal. Bahan ajar divalidasi oleh ahli materi, media, dan bahasa dengan hasil sangat valid: 83% (materi), 94,67% (media), dan penggunaan bahasa yang baik dan komunikatif. Implementasi dilakukan melalui uji coba terbatas dengan kelas eksperimen (XI B) dan kelas kontrol (XI A). Pretest menunjukkan kemampuan awal yang setara. Posttest menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelas eksperimen (100% siswa meningkat), dibandingkan kelas kontrol (88,9%). Evaluasi dari guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 94,73%, dan dari siswa 97,67%, yang menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar efektif mendukung keterampilan menulis, pemahaman budaya lokal, dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis etnopedagogi dengan pendekatan PjBL valid, layak, dan efektif, serta direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan integrasi platform digital dan multimedia. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar; Cerita Pendek; Project Based Learning **** DEVELOPMENT OF ETHNOPEDAGOGICAL-BASED SHORT STORY WRITING TEACHING MATERIALS WITH A PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) APPROACH IN GRADE XI STUDENTS OF SMA/MA Indriani Limbong Master of Indonesian Language Education, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a teaching material for short story writing skills based on ethnopedagogy and utilizing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach for Grade XI students at SMA Pelangi Kasih Jakarta. The method employed is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The needs analysis revealed that students faced difficulties in generating ideas for writing, and teachers had not yet adopted an optimal instructional approach. The teaching material was validated by subject matter, media, and language experts, yielding highly valid results: 83% (content), 94.67% (media), and appropriate, effective, and communicative language use. The implementation phase involved a limited trial with an experimental class (XI B) and a control class (XI A). The pretest results indicated that both classes had comparable initial writing abilities. The posttest results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class (100% of students improved), compared to 88.9% in the control class. Evaluation from teachers resulted in an average score of 94.73%, while students gave an average of 97.67%, indicating that the teaching material effectively supported writing skills, cultural understanding, and students' confidence in expression. This study concludes that the ethnopedagogical PjBL-based teaching material is valid, feasible, and effective. It is recommended that future development includes integration with flexible digital platforms and multimedia technology to enhance the learning experience.
