Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Untuk menganalisis hubungan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap kemampuan storytelling teks naratif secara lisan. 2) Untuk menganalisis hubungan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap kemampuan storytelling teks naratif secara tulis. 3) Untuk mengukur seberapa erat hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap kemampuan storytelling teks naratif secara lisan dan tulis. Penggunaan storytelling dianggap dapat merangsang pengembangan berpikir kritis siswa. Dengan menggunakan teks naratif yang dirasa cocok dengan tujuan pembelajaran karena adanya resolusi yang dapat menstimulus kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa untuk bercerita di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dan menganalisisnya secara kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis dengan uji pearson. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di sekolah MA Qoriyatul Qur’an Weru Sukoharjo. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara tipe kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan storytelling lisan dan tulis. Hal ini diketahui dengan melakukan uji pearson yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,181 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001<0,05, selanjutnya koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,301 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009<0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya adanya korelasi yang nyata (signifikan) dari variabel (X) terhadap variabel (Y1) dan juga variabel (X) terhadap variabel (Y2). Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima yaitu ada hubungan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan storytelling lisan dan tulis. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Storytelling Lisan, Storytelling Tulis ***** This study aims to 1) Analyze the correlation between students' critical thinking skills and their storytelling skills in narrative texts orally. 2) Analyze the correlation between students' critical thinking skills and their storytelling skills in written narrative texts. 3) Measure how close the relationship is between students' critical thinking skills and their storytelling skills in oral and written narrative texts. The use of storytelling is considered to be able to stimulate the development of students' critical thinking. By using narrative texts that are considered suitable for learning objectives because there is a resolution that can stimulate students' critical thinking skills to tell stories at school. This study was conducted by collecting data and analyzing it quantitatively. Data analysis used prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests with the Pearson test. The research location was at the MA Qoriyatul Qur'an Weru Sukoharjo school. Based on the results of the data analysis, it shows that there is a significant correlation between the type of critical thinking skills and oral and written storytelling skills. This is known by conducting a Pearson test which shows that the correlation coefficient value is 0.181 with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, then the correlation coefficient is 0.301 with a significance value of 0.009 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a real (significant) correlation of variable (X) to variable (Y1) and also variable (X) to variable (Y2). Thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted, namely there is a significant relationship between critical thinking skills and oral and written storytelling skills.
