Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris hubungan antara pola asuh authoritative dengan kedisiplinan siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Pulogadung, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 81 dari SDN Rawamangun 05. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk angket untuk variabel X dan variabel Y. Data tersebut kemudian diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t memperoleh hasil thitung > ttabel (7,229 > 1,990), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pola asuh authoritative dengan kedisiplinan siswa SD Negeri Kecamatan Pulo Gadung, Jakarta Timur. Kontribusi paling signifikan diberikan oleh variabel pola asuh authoritative terhadap variabel kedisiplinan siswa sebesar 39,8%, sedangkan 60,2% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen lainnya. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi pola asuh authoritative yang diterapkan orang tua, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kedisiplinan siswa.***** This study aims to empirically determine the relationship between authoritative parenting and the discipline of fifth grade students in SDN Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire for variable X and variable Y. The data were then processed and analyzed using the t-test. Based on the calculation of the t-test obtained from the results of tcount> ttable (7,229 > 1,990), it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between authoritative parenting and the discipline of elementary school students in Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta. The most significant contribution is given by the authoritative parenting variable to the student discipline variable by 39,8%, while the other 60,2% is influenced by other independent variables. Thus, the higher the authoritative parenting pattern applied by parents, the higher the level of student disciplin.
