Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kontak mata dengan menggunakan metode Applied Behaviour Analysis pada anak dengan autism di PAUD Lemuel 3-Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian subjek tunggal (Single Subject Research) dengan disain A-B-A dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis visual dalam kondisi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan pencatatan frekuensi melakukan kontak mata dan durasi perilaku pada tiap fase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan melakukan kontak mata pada anak dengan autism. Pada Baseline A1 atau Sebelum diberikan intervensi, anak memperoleh skor melakukan kontak mata sebanyak 3 , pada saat intervensi anak memperoleh skor kemampuan melakukan kontak mata sebanyak 21, pada Baseline A2 atau setelah diberikan intervensi skor kemampuan melakukan kontak mata menjadi 9. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa metode Applied Behaviour Analysis dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kontak mata anak autis di PAUD Lemuel This research was conducted with the aim of improving the ability of eye contact using the Applied Behavior Analysis method in children with autism in PAUD Lemuel 3-Bogor. This study was a single subject research (A-B-A design) and analyzed using visual analysis in conditions. Data collection was carried out using observations and recording the frequency of making eye contact and the duration of behavior in each phase. The results showed an increase in the ability to make eye contact in children with autism. At Baseline A1 or Before being given an intervention, the child got a score of making eye contact as much as 3, at the time of the intervention the child got a score of ability to make eye contact as much as 21, at Baseline A2 or after being given an intervention the ability to make eye contact score becomes 9. This proves that the Applied method Behavior Analysis can improve the eye contact ability of autistic children in Lemuel 3 PAUD.
