Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh penerapan strategi PQ4R berbantuan Literacy Cloud terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SD, dan (2) mengetahui perbedaan signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan strategi PQ4R berbantuan Literacy Cloud dengan yang menggunakan media literasi konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas V di SDN Gunung 01 Pagi, masing-masing 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes membaca pemahaman berdasarkan Taksonomi Barrett. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan rata-rata skor kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 57,40 menjadi 83,60 dengan kenaikan 26,2 poin, disertai penurunan standar deviasi dari 18,113 menjadi 10,728, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi PQ4R berbantuan Literacy Cloud terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SD. Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test dengan nilai sebesar Sig. 0,034 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan strategi PQ4R berbantuan Literacy Cloud dengan yang menggunakan media teks bacaan cetak. Kata Kunci: Strategi PQ4R, Literacy Cloud, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman **** This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of implementing the PQ4R strategy assisted by Literacy Cloud on the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade elementary students, and (2) identify significant differences between students using the PQ4R strategy with Literacy Cloud and those using conventional literacy media. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two fifth-grade classes at SDN Gunung 01 Pagi, each comprising 25 students. The instrument used was a reading comprehension test based on Barrett’s Taxonomy. Descriptive analysis showed that the average score of the experimental class increased from 57.40 to 83.60, with a gain of 26.2 points, accompanied by a decrease in standard deviation from 18.113 to 10.728. This indicates that the implementation of the PQ4R strategy assisted by Literacy Cloud positively influenced students’ reading comprehension skills. Furthermore, the results of the Independent Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.034 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between students who used the PQ4R strategy with Literacy Cloud and those who used printed text-based media.
