Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul "Analisis Pengukuran Beban Kerja Fisik dan Mental Menggunakan Metode Modified Cooper Harper Scale (MCH) Pada Karyawan Divisi Dokumen PT. PTA." Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat beban kerja fisik dan mental, mencari tahu frekuensi keluhan dan dampak aspek beban kerja fisik dan mental, serta faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi beban kerja pada 4 bagian di Divisi Dokumen yaitu PIB, DO, LS, dan TILA. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah fluktuasi dokumen bulanan dan keterlambatan dari pihak eksternal menyebabkan karyawan overtime mengejar deadline, menciptakan beban kerja berlebih yang berdampak pada aspek fisik (duduk terlalu lama, gerakan berulang, mata lelah) dan mental karyawan (tuntutan tingkat ketelitian, gangguan konsentrasi, stress kerja, dan kecemasan) Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian gabungan, yaitu statistik deskriptif dan kualitatif, untuk menganalisis pengukuran beban kerja dengan menggunakan Modified Cooper Harper Scale (MCH), mencari tahu frekuensi keluhan dan dampak aspek fisik dan mental yang dialami serta faktor yang mempengaruhi beban kerja berlebih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat aktivitas pekerjaan yang overload pada aktivitas kerja karyawan Divisi Dokumen PT. PTA. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara tertutup diketahui juga berbagai frekuensi keluhan dan dampak terkait beban kerja fisik dan mental, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi beban kerja di Divisi Dokumen PT. PTA. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dari 4 bagian dari Divisi Dokumen, Bagian PIB memiliki beban kerja tertinggi, dari aspek fisik kelelahan mata menunjukkan frekuensi keluhan tertinggi sedangkan dari aspek mental kecemasan karena deadline menunjukkan frekuensi keluhan paling tinggi. terdapat tiga faktor utama yang mempengaruhi beban kerja paling tinggi yaitu volume dokumen yang fluktuatif, keterlambatan dokumen dari pihak eksternal, dan kekurangan sumber daya manusia.*****This research is titled "Analysis of Physical and Mental Workload Measurement Using the Modified Cooper Harper Scale (MCH) Method on Employees of the Document Division at PT. PTA." This study aims to measure the level of physical and mental workload, identify the frequency of complaints and impacts of physical and mental workload aspects, as well as factors that influence workload in 4 sections of the Document Division: PIB, DO, LS, and TILA. The background of this research is that monthly document fluctuations and delays from external parties cause employees to work overtime to meet deadlines, creating excessive workload that impacts both physical aspects (prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, eye fatigue) and mental aspects of employees (demands for high accuracy, concentration disruption, work stress, and anxiety). The research method used is a mixed research method, namely descriptive statistics and qualitative, to analyze workload measurement using the Modified Cooper Harper Scale (MCH), identify the frequency of complaints and impacts of physical and mental aspects experienced, as well as factors that influence excessive workload. The research results show that there are overloaded work activities in the work activities of Document Division employees at PT. PTA. Based on the results of closed interviews, various frequencies of complaints and impacts related to physical and mental workload, as well as factors that influence workload in the Document Division of PT. PTA, were also identified. This research concludes that among the 4 sections of the Document Division, the PIB Section has the highest workload. From the physical aspect, eye fatigue shows the highest frequency of complaints, while from the mental aspect, anxiety due to deadlines shows the highest frequency of complaints. There are three main factors that most influence workload: fluctuating document volume, document delays from external parties, and shortage of human resources.
