Abstract

Persaingan ketat di pasar tenaga kerja membuat mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan yang semakin kompleks dan menuntut mereka untuk lebih siap memasuki dunia kerja. Pengalaman magang, efikasi diri, dan kompetensi mahasiswa merupakan faktor utama yang memengaruhi kesiapan kerja mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman magang, efikasi diri, dan kompetensi terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 180 mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang telah menjalani magang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pengalaman magang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa universitas negeri jakarta. (2) Efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa universitas negeri jakarta. (3) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa universitas negeri jakarta. Artinya, semakin relevan pengalaman magang, semakin tinggi efikasi diri, dan semakin baik kompetensi mahasiswa, maka kesiapan mereka dalam memasuki dunia kerja juga meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan untuk mengembangkan program yang mendukung pengalaman magang yang lebih relevan dengan kubutuhan industri, penguatan kepercayaan diri, serta peningkatan kompetensi yang mencakup keterampilan teknis dan interpersonal mahasiswa agar lebih siap bersaing di dunia kerja. Tight competition in the labor market makes students face increasingly complex challenges and requires them to be better prepared to enter the world of work. Internship experience, self-efficacy and student competence are the main factors that influence their work readiness. This research aims to analyze the influence of internship experience, self-efficacy and competence on the work readiness of Jakarta State University students. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 180 final year students at Jakarta State University who have undergone internships. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool. The research results show that (1) Internship experience has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Jakarta State University students. (2) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Jakarta State University students. (3) Competency has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Jakarta State University students. This means that the more relevant the internship experience, the higher the self-efficacy, and the better the students' competence, the more their readiness to enter the world of work will also increase. Based on the research results, it is recommended to develop programs that support internship experiences that are more relevant to industry needs, strengthen self-confidence, and increase competence which includes students' technical and interpersonal skills so they are better prepared to compete in the world of work.
