Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dalam membentuk kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara pada siswa kelas V di SDN Cipinang Muara 20 Pagi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Fokus penelitian mencakup perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka, hambatan pelatih pramuka dalam mengimplementasikan karakter bangsa dan negara, dan pemahaman dan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstakurikuler pramuka. Analisis data menggunakan metode interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka mampu membentuk kesadaran siswa terhadap identitas bangsa, persatuan dan kesatuan, toleransi, ketaatan pada peraturan, cinta tanah air, serta kesadaran akan hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara. Meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti rendahnya motivasi peserta didik dan keterbatasan waktu, kegiatan ini tetap menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap penguatan karakter siswa. Dengan demikian, Pramuka menjadi sarana efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan sejak dini di sekolah dasar. ***** This study aims to describe the implementation of Scout extracurricular activities in fostering national and civic awareness among fifth-grade students at SDN Cipinang Muara 20 Pagi. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The focus of the study includes the planning of Scout extracurricular activities, the challenges faced by Scout instructors in instilling national values, and students’ understanding and participation in Scout activities. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Scoutactivities successfully instill awareness of national identity, unity and integrity,tolerance, obedience to rules, patriotism, and understanding of citizens’ rights and responsibilities. Despite challenges such as low student motivation and limited time, these activities have shown a positive impact on strengthening students’ character. Therefore, Scouting serves as an effective means of instilling national values from an early age in elementary education
