Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas perancangan dan pembuatan media safety induction audiovisual untuk Gedung M. Syafei, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, dengan fokus pada pencegahan dan penanganan risiko kebakaran serta gempa bumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), meskipun hanya tiga tahap awal (Analysis, Design, Development) yang dijelaskan secara rinci dalam konteks ini. Media audiovisual dipilih karena kemampuannya memvisualisasikan informasi kompleks secara efektif. Materi safety induction dirancang mencakup dua topik utama: prosedur evakuasi saat kebakaran dan gempa bumi (mulai dari respons awal, penggunaan jalur evakuasi, hingga titik kumpul), serta prosedur penanganan kebakaran tahap awal menggunakan Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR). Script dan storyboard dibuat secara detail untuk memastikan alur naratif yang jelas, mencakup adegan, dialog, arahan visual, dan elemen audio, dengan fokus pada area lobi lantai 1 dan ruang rapat lantai 6 dan 8. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media (rata-rata 90.4%) dan ahli materi (rata-rata 96.5%) menunjukkan bahwa media ini "Sangat Layak". Uji coba individual (rata-rata 93.5%) dan kelompok kecil (rata-rata 90.2%) juga mengkategorikan produk ini "Sangat Layak". Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba, media audiovisual safety induction Gedung M. Syafei ini dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan informasi, mampu mengatasi keterbatasan metode konvensional dengan menyajikan informasi secara interaktif, menarik, dan mudah dipahami. ***** This thesis discusses the design and development of audiovisual safety induction media for M. Syafei Building, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, focusing on fire and earthquake risk prevention and handling. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), although only the first three stages (Analysis, Design, Development) are detailed in this context. Audiovisual media was chosen for its ability to effectively visualize complex information. The safety induction material is designed to cover two main topics: evacuation procedures during fire and earthquake emergencies (ranging from initial response, use of evacuation routes, to assembly points), and initial fire suppression procedures using Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR). Detailed scripts and storyboards were created to ensure a clear narrative flow, including scenes, dialogues, visual directions, and audio elements, with a focus on the lobby area on the 1st floor and meeting rooms on the 6th and 8th floors. Validation results from media experts (average 90.4%) and material experts (average 96.5%) indicate that this media is "Very Feasible". Individual trials (average 93.5%) and small group trials (average 90.2%) also categorized the product as "Very Feasible". Based on the validation and trial results, the audiovisual safety induction media for M. Syafei Building is declared highly suitable for use as learning and information media, capable of overcoming the limitations of conventional methods by presenting information interactively, engagingly, and easily understandable.
