Abstract
Pendidikan vokasi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bertujuan untuk mencetak lulusan yang siap kerja sesuai kebutuhan industri. Namun, implementasi Teaching Factory (TeFa) sebagai model pembelajaran berbasis industri masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti minimnya kolaborasi dengan dunia usaha, keterbatasan sarana, serta belum optimalnya pendekatan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan TeFa berdasarkan pendekatan berkelanjutan dengan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), serta memberikan rekomendasi implementasi strategi yang mendukung kesiapan kerja siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed methods dengan pendekatan deskriptif evaluatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi terhadap siswa, guru, dan pimpinan SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan TeFa pada aspek Context dan Process dikategorikan “Sangat Baik” dengan nilai rata-rata di atas 4,20, sedangkan aspek Input memperoleh kategori “Baik”. Aspek Product menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi teknis dan Soft Skills siswa sebagai cerminan kesiapan kerja. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan berkelanjutan dalam pelaksanaan TeFa berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesiapan kerja siswa di industri, terutama melalui integrasi praktik industri, penguatan manajemen peralatan, dan peningkatan kualitas pengajar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pembaruan kurikulum berbasis industri, pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk guru, serta kemitraan jangka panjang dengan dunia usaha sebagai strategi utama untuk memperkuat keberlanjutan program TeFa. However, the implementation of the Teaching Factory (TeFa) as an industry-based learning model still faces several challenges, such as limited collaboration with the business sector, lack of adequate facilities, and the absence of a sustainable approach. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TeFa based on a sustainable approach using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product), and to provide recommendations for strategies that support students' work readiness. This research employed a mixed methods approach with a descriptive-evaluative design. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations involving students, teachers, and school leaders at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. The findings revealed that the implementation of TeFa in the Context and Process aspects was categorized as “Very Good,” with average scores above 4.20, while the Input aspect was rated “Good.” The Product aspect demonstrated an improvement in students’ technical competencies and Soft Skills as indicators of work readiness. In conclusion, the sustainable approach in TeFa implementation has a significant impact on enhancing students’ readiness for the workforce, particularly through the integration of industrial practice, equipment management, and teacher quality improvement. This study recommends curriculum updates aligned with industry needs, continuous teacher training, and long-term partnerships with the industrial sector as key strategies to reinforce the sustainability of the TeFa program.
