Abstract

Kasus kanker serviks di Indonesia masih banyak menelan korban dan menempati posisi urutan kedua sebagai jenis kanker yang paling umum diderita. Hal ini dikarenakan tingkat pengetahuan serta kesadaran masyarakat khususnya perempuan yang rendah mengenai edukasi kanker serviks. Karena itu, Instagram @femaledailynetwork hadir untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat melalui konten edukasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini guna mengetahui hubungan penggunaan media sosial instagram @femaledailynetwork dengan sikap kesadaran edukasi kanker serviks (survei pada likers “Januari Diperingati sebagai Bulan Kesadaran Kanker Serviks di Dunia” 12 Januari 2025). Teori yang digunakan ialah teori new media yang dikemukakan oleh Pierre Levy yang menjelaskan kehadiran media baru dapat menghadirkan layanan interaksi dimana saja dan kapan saja. Variabel media sosial mencakup social media use for communication, social media use for collaboration, social media use for education, dan social media use for entertainment. Variabel sikap mencakup effortful, relatively enduring, dan requirement a dimension of judgement. Paradigma positivisme digunakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode survei dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui Google Form. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan likers pada konten “Januari Diperingati sebagai Bulan Kesadaran Kanker Serviks di Dunia” 12 Januari 2025) sebanyak 359. Pada penelitian ini, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang sesuai kriteria yakni, wanita usia subur, pengguna aktif Instagram, dan menyukai unggahan @femaledailynetwork dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 78 akun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dimensi yang memiliki nilai mean tertinggi variabel media sosial yakni social media use for education, sedangkan dimensi yang memiliki nilai mean tertinggi variabel sikap yakni relatively enduring. Data penelitian berdasarkan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov terdistribusi normal. Grafik scatter plot menunjukkan penyebaran tiitk dari kiri bawah ke kanan atas artinya pola hubungan linear positif antara variabel media sosial dan sikap. Diperkuat dengan hasil uji korelasi Pearson yang membuktikann adanya korelasi positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara media sosial @femaledailynetwork dengan sikap kesadaran edukasi kanker serviks pada likers. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian menyatakan jika media sosial @femaledailynetwork memiliki hubungan sangat kuat dengan sikap kesadaran edukasi kanker serviks pada likers. Saran yang dapat diberikan untuk media sosial @femaledailynetwork agar konten edukasi yang diunggah oleh @femaledailynetwork menyisipkan ajakan yang lebih emosional seperti testimoni penyintas kanker serviks hingga kolaborasi tokoh publik relevan untuk memperluas jangkauan. Kata Kunci: Media Baru, Media Sosial, Sikap ***** Cervical cancer cases in Indonesia still claim many victims and rank as the second most common type of cancer. This is due to the low level of public knowledge and awareness, especially among women, regarding cervical cancer education. Therefore, the Instagram account @femaledailynetwork exists to provide education to the public through educational content about reproductive health. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between the use of the Instagram social media account @femaledailynetwork and attitudes towards cervical cancer education (survey on likers of "Januari Diperingati sebagai Bulan Kesadaran Kanker Serviks di Dunia" January 12, 2025). The theory used is the new media theory proposed by Pierre Levy, which explains that the presence of new media can provide interactive services anywhere and anytime. Social media variables include social media use for communication, social media use for collaboration, social media use for education, and social media use for entertainment. Attitude variables include Effortful, Relatively Enduring, dan Requirement a dimension of judgement. A positivist paradigm was used with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a survey method by distributing questionnaires via Google Forms. The study population consisted of 359 users of the content "Januari Diperingati sebagai Bulan Kesadaran Kanker Serviks di Dunia" (January 12, 2025). This study used a purposive sampling technique that met the criteria of women of childbearing age, active Instagram users, and users of @femaledailynetwork posts, with a sample of 78 accounts. The results of the study indicate that the dimension with the highest average score for the social media variable is the use of social media for education, while the dimension with the highest average score for the attitude variable is relatively enduring. The research data, based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, is normally distributed. The scatterplot graph shows a distribution from the bottom left to the top right, indicating a positive linear relationship between the social media variables and attitudes. This is supported by the results of the Pearson correlation test, which proves a very strong and significant positive correlation between the @femaledailynetwork social media platform and attitudes toward cervical cancer education among likers. The conclusion drawn from this study states that the @femaledailynetwork social media platform has a very strong relationship with attitudes toward cervical cancer education among likers. Recommendations for the @femaledailynetwork social media platform include a more emotional appeal to the educational content uploaded by @femaledailynetwork, such as testimonials from cervical cancer survivors, and collaboration with relevant community leaders to expand reach.
