Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kelayakan media interaktif Quiz and Riddle (QURI) sebagai media pembelajaran IPA kelas IV Sekolah Dasar (SD). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Hannafin & Peck yang terdiri dari tiga fase, yaitu: 1) fase analisis kebutuhan (needs assessment); 2) fase desain (design); dan 3) fase pengembangan dan implementasi (development and implementation). Uji validasi dilakukan oleh tiga orang dosen ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil penilaian validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 91% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba pengguna melalui respon peserta didik kelas IV SD pada tahap one-to-one, small group, dan field test memperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian, media interaktif QURI materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan pada pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SD dinyatakan sangat layak untuk diterapkan. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan media pembelajaran di dunia pendidikan dan membuka peluang untuk penelitian lanjutan. ***** This study aims to determine the development process and feasibility of the interactive media Quiz and Riddle (QURI) as a learning medium for fourth-grade elementary school science. The research method used in this study is research and development (R&D) using the Hannafin & Peck model, which consists of three phases: 1) needs assessment phase; 2) design phase; and 3) development and implementation phase. Validation testing was conducted by three expert lecturers, including a subject matter expert, a media expert, and a language expert. The validation assessment results by the experts showed an overall average score of 91% with the criterion of highly suitable. The user testing results through fourth-grade student responses in the one-to-one, small group, and field test phases yielded an overall average of 95% with the category of highly suitable. Based on the evaluation results, the interactive media QURI on plant body parts for fourth-grade science education is deemed highly suitable for implementation. The findings of this study are expected to contribute significantly to the development of educational media in the field of education and open opportunities for further research.
