Abstract

**** This study aims to describe the profile of fundamental motor skills in futsal athletes with intellectual disabilities affiliated with Special Olympics Indonesia (SOIna) DKI Jakarta. Fundamental motor skills are essential for supporting physical activity and sports performance, especially for athletes with intellectual challenges who often face issues such as coordination difficulties, muscle weakness, and balance disorders. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method involving 58 athletes selected using total sampling. The assessment was based on the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-2), covering non-locomotor, locomotor, and manipulative motor skills. The results revealed that overall, 51.72% of the athletes fell into the "Good" category, 27.59% in the "Fair" category, and 20.69% in the "Poor" category. These findings suggest that although the general ability of the athletes is relatively strong, targeted interventions are needed to improve weaker components of motor development. The study is expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective training programs tailored to the needs of athletes with intellectual disabilities. Keywords: fundamental motor skills, futsal, intellectual disability, SOIna, motor performance, adapted physical education
