Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi yang diterapkan oleh Komunitas Jakarta Mengabdi dalam program edukasi anak dalam mewujudkan epistemic curiosity di Kampung Gedong, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas lima pengurus inti Komunitas Jakarta Mengabdi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunitas ini menerapkan strategi yang menyeluruh, meliputi corporate strategy (strategi organisasi), program strategy (strategi pelaksanaan kegiatan), resource support strategy (strategi pendukung sumber daya), dan institutional strategy (strategi kelembagaan). Pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan bersifat kontekstual, seperti experiential learning, community-based learning, dan problem-based learning, yang terbukti mampu mendorong keterlibatan dan epitesmic curiosity anak dalam proses belajar. Selain itu, strategi ini juga dirancang untuk menghadapi berbagai hambatan internal maupun eksternal. Dengan demikian, strategi yang dijalankan Komunitas Jakarta Mengabdi memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan pendidikan nonformal berbasis komunitas. Kata Kunci: Strategi Komunitas, Edukasi Anak, Epitesmic Curiosity ***** This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by the Jakarta Mengabdi Community in its children's education program to foster epistemic curiosity in Kampung Gedong, East Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The research subjects consist of five core members of the Jakarta Mengabdi Community. The results of the study indicate that this community implements a comprehensive strategy, including corporate strategy (organizational strategy), program strategy (activity implementation strategy), resource support strategy (resource support strategy), and institutional strategy (institutional strategy). The learning approach used is contextual, such as experiential learning, community-based learning, and problem-based learning, which have proven effective in fostering children's engagement and epistemic curiosity in the learning process. Additionally, these strategies are designed to address various internal and external challenges. Thus, the strategies implemented by the Jakarta Mengabdi Community contribute positively to the development of community-based non-formal education.
