Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas VII di SMP Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent (Pretest-Posttest) Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Jakarta yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik 138. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-A dan VII-D yang diambil secara random sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes tertulis yang berbentuk pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil statistik deskriptif, rata-rata Pre-test 71,78 (eksperimen) dan 71,69 (kontrol) sedangkan rata-rata Post-test 82,58 (eksperimen) dan 73,31 (kontrol) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil Post-test kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata Post-test kelas kontrol yang hanya menggunakan metode konvensional. Pada pengujian data menggunakan Independent Samples T-test nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,016 < 0,05, maka dasar pengambilan keputusan H_0 ditolak dan H_1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Quasi-Experimental method, employing a Nonequivalent (Pretest-Posttest) Control Group Design. The population of this study consists of all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 14 Jakarta, which comprises 4 classes with a total of 138 students. The sample in this study consists of classes VII-A and VII-D, which were selected through random sampling. Data collection in this study used a written test in the form of multiple-choice questions. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, the average Pre-test score was 71.78 (experiment) and 71.69 (control), while the average Post-test score was 82.58 (experiment) and 73.31 (control). Therefore, it can be concluded that the average Post-test score of the experimental class, which was treated using the Project Based Learning model, was higher compared to the average Post-test score of the control class, which only used the conventional method. In the data testing using the Independent Samples T-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.016 < 0.05, thus the decision to reject H_0 and accept H_1 was made. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect from the use of the Project Based Learning model.
