Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya yang digunakan oleh guru di SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan siswi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di bulan Januari 2025 sampai Maret 2025. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci dan informan inti. Informan kunci yaitu Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kurikulum, sedangkan yang menjadi informan inti yaitu guru mata pelajaran sejarah serta siswa kelas X-E dan X-G yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru sejarah di SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta terutama ibu Putri memiliki strategi yang memberikan pemahaman sejarah melalui projek, diskusi, ceramah singkat yang ditambahkan unsur – unsur lain seperti sesi tanya jawab, penugasan kelompok, serta menekankan kemampuan individu atau kelompok untuk bisa berbicara dengan tegas dan percaya diri di depan kelas. Berhasil atau tidaknya upaya yang guru lakukan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dapat terlihat melalui evaluasi pembelajaran dan bagaimana situasi di kelas ketika guru sedang memberikan sebuah materi, untuk kelas X-E pada saat pengambilan nilai sumatif (ulangan) dari 36 siswa terdapat 10 siswa yang belum mengerjakan tugasnya sehingga mendapatkan nilai 0, namun dari semua siswa yang mengerjakan tugasnya tidak ada yang remedial yang artinya keseluruhan siswa mendapatkan nilai diatas Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP). Sedangkan untuk kelas X-G pada saat pengambilan nilai sumatif dari 36 siswa terdapat 3 siswa yang belum mengerjakan tugasnya dan terdapat 1 siswa yang remedial dan sisanya sudah mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian tujuan Pembelajaran. Kata kunci : Guru , Pembelajaran, Sejarah, SMA *********************************************************** This study aims to determine the efforts used by teachers at SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta in increasing students' interest in learning. This study uses a Qualitative method and was conducted from January 2025 to March 2025. The techniques used in data collection by researchers in this study were observation, documentation, and interviews. The data sources used in this study consisted of key informants and core informants. The key informant is the Vice Principal for curriculum, while the core informants are the history subject teacher and students in grades X-E and X-G totaling 36 students. The results of this study indicate that history teachers at SMA Negeri 54, especially Mrs. Putri, have a strategy that provides historical understanding through projects, discussions, short lectures that are added with other elements such as question and answer sessions, group assignments, and emphasizing the ability of individuals or groups to be able to speak firmly and confidently in front of the class. The success or failure of the teacher's efforts to improve students' interest in learning can be seen through the evaluation of learning and how the situation in the classroom is when the teacher is giving a material, for class X-E at the time of taking summative grades (tests) from 36 students there were 10 students who had not done their assignments so they got a score of 0, but of all the students who did their assignments none were remedial which means that all students got scores above the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). While for class X-G at the time of taking summative grades from 36 students there were 3 students who had not done their assignments and there was 1 student who was remedial and the rest had reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria.
