Abstract
Permainan bola basket merupakan olahraga dinamis dengan kontak fisik tinggi yang menuntut penguasaan teknik untuk mendukung performa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model latihan pola permainan guna meningkatkan performa tim basket remaja yang belum masuk peringkat empat besar dalam kompetisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah research and development melalui 10 tahapan, melibatkan 106 atlet berusia 12–15 tahun. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan Game Performance Analysis Instrument, lalu dianalisis dengan SPSS versi 25. Hasil validasi ahli menekankan pentingnya batasan waktu dalam setiap drill, tingkat kesulitan bertahap (beginner, intermediate, advanced), variasi dalam latihan, serta integrasi aspek conditioning. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan bahwa format 1 vs 1 memiliki tingkat keberhasilan dan kemudahan tertinggi (80%), disusul 2 vs 2 (74%) dan 3 vs 3 (68%). Uji coba kelompok besar menegaskan pola serupa: 1 vs 1 (82,63%), 2 vs 2 (76,12%), dan 3 vs 3 (67,12%). Format 2 vs 2 menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan dalam passing dan defensive rebound, serta menurunkan turnover. Sementara itu, 3 vs 3 memberikan peningkatan lebih besar dalam total passing, tembakan, dan poin. Secara komparatif, 2 vs 2 lebih efektif untuk keterampilan individu dan pertahanan, sedangkan 3 vs 3 unggul dalam pengembangan permainan tim dan pemahaman taktik ofensif. Kesimpulannya, kedua format saling melengkapi dalam pengembangan pemain bola basket usia muda. This study aims to develop a game pattern training model to improve team performance among youth basketball teams not ranked in the top four during competitions. The research used a research and development method consisting of 10 stages, involving 106 basketball athletes aged 12–15. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and the Game Performance Analysis Instrument, and analyzed using SPSS version 25. Expert validation highlighted the need for time limits for each drill, progressive difficulty levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced), drill variations, and integration of conditioning aspects. Small group trials showed that the 1 vs 1 format had the highest success rate and ease of implementation (80%), followed by 2 vs 2 (74%) and 3 vs 3 (68%). Large group trials confirmed similar trends: 1 vs 1 (82.63%), 2 vs 2 (76.12%), and 3 vs 3 (67.12%). The 2 vs 2 format demonstrated significant improvements in total passing, correct passing, and defensive rebounds, with reduced turnovers. Meanwhile, the 3 vs 3 format yielded greater increases in total passes, shooting attempts, and points scored. Comparative analysis revealed that the 2 vs 2 format is more effective for developing individual skills and defense, while the 3 vs 3 format excels in enhancing team play and offensive tactical understanding. In conclusion, both formats complement each other in developing young basketball players, with 2 vs 2 suitable for fundamental skills and 3 vs 3 for tactical and team play development.
