Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of Physical Education (PJOK) teachers who participated in the first cohort of the Professional Development Program for Teachers (PPKG) in implementing differentiated instruction in North Jakarta. The evaluation framework is based on the Charlotte Danielson model, which consists of four key domains: (1) Planning and Preparation, (2) The Classroom Environment, (3) Instruction, and (4) Professional Responsibilities. This research employed a descriptive evaluative approach, with data collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The research sample included PJOK teachers from the PPKG program, school principals, and students. The evaluation instruments were developed based on the indicators from the Danielson Framework and the principles of differentiated instruction. The findings indicate that the teachers' performance across all four domains is generally good. Teachers were able to design lessons that accommodated students' needs, interests, and readiness levels. They created a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. During instruction, they demonstrated responsiveness, used various teaching strategies, and applied formative assessment effectively. Furthermore, teachers showed professional responsibility through continuous self-reflection and professional development. In conclusion, the implementation of differentiated instruction by PJOK teacher who participated in the PPKG program in North Jakarta has been relatively effective. This study recommends strengthening institutional support and providing ongoing professional development to enhance teachers' competence in differentiated instruction. Keywords: Teacher performance evaluation, PJOK teacher, PPKG, differentiated instruction, Charlotte Danielson model.
