Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penilaian estetika produk Shoulder Bag menggunakan sisa benang dengan teknik quilting melalui plastic Biodegradable, berdasarkan teori estetika A.A.M Djelantik meliputi aspek/indikator wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi dan penampilan atau penyajian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penilaian yang diberikan kepada 5 panelis untuk memberikan penilaian estetika Shoulder Bag berdasarkan indikator wujud/rupa meliputi garis, arah, bentuk, ukuran, warna dan tekstur, indikator bobot dan isi meliputi gagasan atau ide, indikator penampilan atau penyaijian meliputi keterampilan, sarana dan media. Hasil penelitian estetika berdasarkan indikator wujud/rupa memperoleh nilai sebesar 94,4 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan aspek bobot atau isi memperoleh nilai sebesar 90,1. Indikator penampilan/penyajian memperoleh nilai sebesar 94,7 dengan kategori sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan penilaian estetika produk Shoulder Bag, menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik dengan nilai 92,5. Hasil penilaian dari kelima produk Shoulder Bag, nilai tertinggi produk Shoulder Bag nomor 4. ***** This research aims to produce a millennial product in the form of a Shoulder Bag by applying quilting techniques through Biodegradable plastic and obtain an aesthetic assessment of the quilting technique on the millennial product in the form of a Shoulder Bag based on A.A.M Djelantik's aesthetic theory, including aspects/indikators of form or shape, weight or content, and appearance or presentation. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a pre-experimental design approach, a one-shot case study. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire instrument given to 5 panelists to provide scores, with a single variable, namely the aesthetic research of the quilting technique on the millennial Shoulder Bag product based on indikators of form/appearance including design elements and design principles, weight/content and presentation/appearance. The results of the aesthetic research based on the appearance/presentation aspect obtained a score of 94.7, categorized as very good. Based on the form/appearance aspect, it received a score of 94.4, categorized as very good. Based on the weight/content aspect, it received a score of 90.1. Overall, the research results across all three aspects showed very good results, with an average score of 92.5. The research results showed that of the five product designs, the Millinary Shoulder Bag with the quilting technique received a high score, categorized as very good.
