Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepatuhan akademik terhadap academic boredom pada siswa tingkat SMA di pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, melibatkan 250 siswa aktif jenjang SMA yang bersekolah di pondok pesantren, berusia antara 15–18 tahun. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari The Academic Boredom Survey Instrument dan Obedience in Education Scale. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan akademik berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap academic boredom. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kepatuhan akademik siswa, maka tingkat academic boredom cenderung lebih rendah. ***** This study aims to examine the influence of academic obedience on academic boredom among Islamic boarding school (pondok pesantren) senior high school students. This study employs a quantitative design with a survey approach, involving 250 active students at the senior high school level, aged between 15 and 18 years, who are currently enrolled in Islamic boarding schools. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The instruments used included the Academic Boredom Survey Instrument and the Obedience in Education Scale. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that academic obedience had a significant negative influence on academic boredom. These findings indicate that the higher the students’ academic obedience, the lower their levels of academic boredom.
