Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kompetensi sosial emosional siswa pada pembelajaran laju reaksi menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan aplikasi Padlet. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 dengan subjek penelitian 37 siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket awal dan akhir kompetensi sosial emosional siswa yang diadaptasi dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Fernández-Martín et al. (2022), observasi pembelajaran, wawancara, dan jurnal reflektif siswa setiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh indikator kompetensi sosial emosional mengalami perkembangan positif. Kompetensi sosial emosional yang muncul diantaranya seperti, mengenali kelebihan dan kekurangan diri maupun orang lain, menyadari kebutuhan diri, mengenali dan memahami emosi, toleransi antar sesama, peduli terhadap orang lain, berani mengambil langkah dalam memulai sesuatu, berusaha mencapai tujuan dan mengatasi hambatan, menjalin hubungan yang baik, bekerja sama dalam kelompok, memberikan bantuan, membuat keputusan yang bertanggung jawab, serta mengidentifikasi masalah dan menggunakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Think Talk Write dan aplikasi Padlet dapat mengembangkan kompetensi sosial emosional siswa.*****This study aims to determine the development of students' social emotional competencies in reaction rate learning using the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model assisted by the Padlet application. The study was conducted at a public high school in Tangerang City in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year with 37 grade XI students as research subjects. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of initial and final questionnaires on students' social emotional competencies adapted from research conducted by Fernández-Martín et al. (2022), learning observations, interviews, and students' reflective journals for each meeting. The results of the study showed that all indicators of social emotional competencies experienced positive development. The social emotional competencies that emerged include recognizing one's own strengths and weaknesses as well as those of others, being aware of one's own needs, recognizing and understanding emotions, tolerance among peers, caring for others, being brave enough to take the first step in starting something, striving to achieve goals and overcome obstacles, building good relationships, working together in groups, providing assistance, making responsible decisions, and identifying problems and using problem-solving skills. This study indicates that the Think Talk Write learning model and the Padlet application can develop students' social emotional competencies.
