Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh academic self-efficacy dan perceived social support terhadap academic burnout pada mahasiswa kedokteran di indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menguji hipotesis. Pengambilan sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non-probability dengan jenis teknik sampel purposive sampling, serta jumlah responden sebanyak 255 mahasiswa kedokteran di Indonesia. Kuesioner menjadi alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linear berganda. Instrumen dalam pengambilan data menggunakan Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS), Self-efficacy Sub Scale of MSLQ dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived social support (MSPSS) yang telah dilakukan adaptasi sesuai konteks penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara academic self efficacy dan perceived social support terhadap academic burnout mahasiswa kedokteran. Kontribusi pengaruh yang diberikan variabel academic self-efficacy dan dimensi perceived social support sebesar 18.4% dan kedua variabel berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap academic burnout pada mahasiswa kedokteran di Indonesia. ***** This study was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of academic self-efficacy and perceived social support on academic burnout among medical students in Indonesia. The method used in this study was a quantitative approach with hypothesis testing. Sampling in this study used a non-probability technique of purposive sampling with a total of 255 medical students as respondents. A questionnaire was used as the tool for collecting research data. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression testing. The instruments used for data collection were the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS), Self-Efficacy Subscale of the MSLQ, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived social support (MSPSS), which had been adapted to the research context. The results of this study indicate that academic self-efficacy and perceived social support have an influence on academic burnout among medical students. The combined contribution of academic self-efficacy and the dimensions of perceived social support accounts for 18.4% of the variance in academic burnout. Both variables were found to have a negative effect on academic burnout among medical students in Indonesia.
