Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan penelitian, yang pertama untuk mendeskripsikan representasi traumatik kekerasan seksual pada anak dalam film Hope 2013, kemudian yang kedua mendeskripsikan fungsi keluarga dalam membantu proses pemulihan trauma pada anak korban kekerasan seksual pada film Hope 2013 dilihat melalui analisis semiotika, dan yang ketiga untuk mendeskripsikan kaitan sosiologi keluarga dengan fungsi keluarga dalam membantu proses pemulihan trauma pada anak korban kekerasan seksual dalam film Hope 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi teks film. Objek penelitian yakni film “Hope” yang dirilis tahun 2013. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis teks film dan studi kepustakaan, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis semiotika oleh Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan, diantaranya representasi traumatik pada anak ditampilkan secara simbolik melalui adegan yang dapat dikaji dengan analisis semiotika, memperlihatkan sisi psikologis, rasa takut, dan kehilangan rasa aman. Keterkaitan sosiologi keluarga dengan peran dan fungsi keluarga mencakup fungsi afeksi, proteksi, dan sosialisasi dalam keluarga membantu anak dalam proses pemulihan traumanya. Adanya konstruksi makna terkait pemaknaan film juga memperkuat penelitian ini. The first is to describe the representation of the traumatic impact of sexual violence on children as depicted in the 2013 film “Hope”. The second is to explain the function of the family in supporting the trauma recovery process of child victims of sexual violence in the film analyzed through a semiotic approach. The third is to explore the relationship between family sociology by the family’s role in assisting the child’s trauma recovery process in the context of the film. The research uses a qualitative approach through film text study. The object of the study is the film “Hope” released in 2013. Data was collected through film text analysis and literature review, with data analysis carried out using Roland Barthes, semiotic theory. The study reveals several findings, including the representation of trauma in children displayed symbolically through scenes that can be studied with semiotic analysis, showing the psychological side, fear, and loss of security. The relationship between family sociology and the role and function of the family, including the functions of affection, protection, and socialization within the family, helps children recover from trauma.
