Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemaafan terhadap penerimaan diri pada peserta didik yang mengalami perundungan verbal di SMP Negeri 25 Jakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 227 peserta didik yang pernah mengalami perundungan verbal, yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Intrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas skala Berger's Self-Acceptance, Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivation (TRIM-18), dan Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pemaafan terhadap penerimaan diri dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002 (< 0,05) dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,041. Artinya, pemaafan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 4,1% terhadap penerimaan diri peserta didik yang mengalami perundungan verbal. Hubungan antara kedua variabel bersifat positif, namun berkekuatan lemah. Peserta didik yang memiliki tingkat pemaafan tinggi cenderung memiliki penerimaan diri yang lebih baik. Guru BK diharapkan dapat memberikan materi tentang pemaafan dan penerimaan diri peserta didik korban perundungan verbal melalui layanan bimbingan klasikal, serta memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua untuk meningkatkan dukungan emosional kepada anak korban perundungan verbal. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of forgiveness on self-acceptance in students who experience verbal bullying at 25 Junior High School Jakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 227 students who had experienced verbal bullying, which was selected through simple random sampling technique. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The instruments used consist of Berger's Self-Acceptance scale, Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivation (TRIM-18), and Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument, which have been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that there was a significant influence between forgiveness on self-acceptance with a significance value of 0.002 (< 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.041. This means that forgiveness contributes 4.1% to the self-acceptance of students who experience verbal bullying. The relationship between the two variables is positive, but weak in strength. Students who have a high level of forgiveness tend to have better self-acceptance. Counselling teachers are expected to provide material on forgiveness and self-acceptance of students who are victims of verbal bullying through classical guidance services and provide education to parents to increase emotional support to children who are victims of verbal bullying.
