Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis struktural novel Kedai Bunga Kopi karya Reni Fajarwati dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran teks novel di jenjang SMA. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya novel sebagai media pendidikan karakter dan tantangan siswa dalam memahami unsur-unsur sastra. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumen (novel) dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Kedai Bunga Kopi kaya akan unsur intrinsik, menampilkan tema perjuangan meraih impian dan cinta pada kopi, dengan tokoh utama Melati yang dinamis. Alur maju didukung latar yang relevan, penggunaan gaya bahasa yang bervariasi, serta amanat kegigihan. Secara ekstrinsik, novel ini mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter meliputi moral, sosial, dan budaya. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan novel ini sangat relevan sebagai bahan ajar, terealisasi dalam modul pembelajaran, yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap karya sastra dan menanamkan nilai-nilai positif. Kesimpulannya, novel ini memiliki keterkaitan kuat antara unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, menjadikannya potensial untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Struktural, Novel, Kedai Bunga Kopi, Pembelajaran, Modul. ***** This study aims to describe the structural analysis of Reni Fajarwati's novel Kedai Bunga Kopi and its implications for learning novel texts at the high school level. The background of this study departs from the importance of novels as a medium for character education and students' challenges in understanding literary elements. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through document studies (novel) and content analysis. The results of the study indicate that the novel Kedai Bunga Kopi is rich in intrinsic elements, presenting the theme of the struggle to achieve dreams and love for coffee, with the dynamic main character Melati. The forward plot is supported by a relevant setting, the use of varied language styles, and the message of persistence. Extrinsically, this novel contains character education values including moral, social, and cultural. The implications of the study show that this novel is very relevant as a teaching material, realized in learning modules, which can improve students' understanding of literary works and instill positive values. In conclusion, this novel has a strong relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic elements, making it potential for Indonesian language learning.
