Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara pola asuh permisif ibu dengan academic burnout pada siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 450 siswa SMA yang bersekolah di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik probability sampling dengan metode cluster sampling. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan menyebarkan angket atau kuesioner kepada responden. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat pola asuh permisif ibu adalah Parental Authority Questionnaire yang dikembangkan oleh John R. Buri (1991), sedangkan untuk mengukur academic burnout diukur dengan menggunakan skala Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) yang dikembangkan oleh Schaufeli et al. (2002). Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,019 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara pola asuh permisif ibu dengan academic burnout pada siswa SMA. ***** This study aims to find out whether or not there is a relationship between permissive mother’s parenting style and academic burnout in high school students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a correlational research type. This study uses a sample of 450 high school students who attend school in the DKI Jakarta area. The sampling technique used in this study is a probability sampling technique with the cluster sampling method. The data collection technique used in this study was by distributing lifts or questionnaires to respondents. The instrument used to measure the level of permissive parenting of mothers is the Parental Authority Questionnaire developed by John R. Buri (1991), while to measure academic burnout is measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) scale developed by Schaufeli et al. (2002). Hypothesis testing using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test showed a significance value of 0.019 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between permissive mother’s parenting style and academic burnout in high school students.
