Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian estetika tote bag menggunakan hiasan perca batik dengan teknik bordir yang dinilai oleh 5 panelis ahli berdasarkan teori estetika A.A.M Djelantik meliputi indikator wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian. Sub indikator wujud/rupa yang meliputi penerapan unsur desain bentuk,warna, tekstur, dan ukuran dan penerapan prinsip desain proporsi, pusat perhatian, dan harmoni. Sub indikator bobot/isi yang meliputi gagasan sumber inspirasi. Sub indikator penampilan/penyajian yang meliputi keterampilan dan penampilan/penyajian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian preexperimental design, one shot case study. Penilaian diukur menggunakan rating scale. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan variabel angket yang diberikan kepada 5 panelis ahli untuk menilai, dengan variabel tunggal yaitu penilaian estetika tote bag menggunakan hiasan perca batik dengan teknik bordir. Hasil penilaian dari kelima desain produk estetika tote bag menggunakan hiasan perca batik dengan teknik bordir secara keseluruhan berdasarkan indikator wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian memperoleh skor tertinggi dengan nilai 93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek estetika yang memperoleh skor tertinggi adalah aspek wujud/rupa dengan sub indikator tekstur dan pusat perhatian yang perolehan skor 95,5% dan 95% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan produk yang memperoleh nilai tertinggi adalah produk 2 dengan perolehan skor 94,7% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan nilai terendah diperoleh desain 4 dengan perolehan skor 91,7% dengan kategori sangat baik. ***** This study aims to obtain an aesthetic assessment of tote bags using batik patchwork decorations with embroidery techniques assessed by 5 expert panelists based on A.A.M Djelantik's aesthetic theory including indicators of form/shape, weight/content, and appearance/presentation. Sub-indicators of form/shape include the application of design elements of shape, color, texture, and size and the application of design principles of proportion, center of attention, and harmony. Sub-indicators of weight/content include ideas of sources of inspiration. Sub-indicators of appearance/presentation include skills and appearance/presentation. This research method uses quantitative descriptive with a pre-experimental design, one-shot case study research design. Assessment is measured using a rating scale. Data collection techniques use questionnaire variables given to 5 expert panelists to assess, with a single variable, namely the aesthetic assessment of tote bags using batik patchwork decorations with embroidery techniques. The results of the assessment of the five aesthetic tote bag product designs using batik patchwork decorations with embroidery techniques as a whole based on indicators of form/shape, weight/content, and appearance/presentation obtained the highest score with a value of 93% with a very good category. The aesthetic aspect with the highest score was the form/appearance aspect, with the sub-indicators texture and focus, scoring 95.5% and 95%, respectively, in the excellent category. Meanwhile, the highest-scoring product was Product 2, with a score of 94.7%, in the excellent category, and the lowest-scoring product was Design 4, with a score of 91.7%, in the excellent category
