Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) berbantuan Buku Digital siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjung Barat 07. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan setiap siklusnya, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara peneliti dengan guru kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah soal tes dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis tiap tahap refleksi, peningkatan nilai pada setiap akhir siklus, serta hasil dari instrumen pemantau tindakan yang diisi selama pembelajaran dan pencatatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai membaca pemahaman mencapai 87,5% dari jumlah siswa kelas IV dengan nilai ≥70 sesuai dengan KKTP. Adapun keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model CIRC dapat dilihat melalui aktivitas guru dan siswa sebesar 91,67% dan 88,83%. Karena telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan yaitu 85% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥70, maka penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CIRC berbantuan buku digital efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjung Barat 07. ***** This study aims to improve reading comprehension skills through Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) asissted by Digital Books for grade IV students of SDN Tanjung Barat 07. This research uses the Classroom Action Research method. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students totaling 32 students. The research was conducted in two cycles consisting of four stages of each cycle, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted collaboratively between researcher and teacher. Data collection techniques in this study include tests, observation, and documentation. The data collection instruments used were test questions and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used the analysis of each stage of reflection, the increase in scores at the end of each cycle, as well as the results of the action monitoring instrument filled in during learning and field notes. The results showed an increase in reading comprehension scores reaching 87.5% of the total number of fourth grade students with a score ≥70 in accordance with the KKTP. The success of learning activities using the CIRC model can be seen through teacher and student activities of 91.67% and 88.83%. Because it has reached the completeness criteria, 85% of students get a score ≥70, this research is said to be successful. These results show that the application of the CIRC model assisted by digital books is effective in improving the reading comprehension skills for grade IV students of SDN Tanjung Barat 07.
