Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of applying the CIRC cooperative learning model on the narrative text writing skills of fourth-grade students in Kebayoran Baru District. The method used in this research is an experimental quantitative method with a Quasi Experiment design, specifically a pretest-posttest control group design. The data on students' narrative writing skills were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The analysis results show that there is a difference in the narrative text writing skills of fourth-grade students who use the CIRC cooperative learning model compared to conventional learning. This is indicated by the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001, which is smaller than the sig. level of 0.05. The average narrative writing skills score of students using the CIRC cooperative learning model is 25.85, which is higher than the average narrative writing skills score of students using the conventional model, which is 21.86. Thus, the CIRC-type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the narrative text writing skills of fourth-grade students in the Kebayoran Baru District. ***** Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi peserta didik kelas IV di Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Eksperiment yaitu jenis pretest posttest control group design. Data nilai keterampilan menulis teks narasi peserta didik di analisi dengan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil analisi menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai keterampilan menulis teks narasi peserta didik kelas IV yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC dengan pembelajaran ekspositori. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 yang lebih kecil dari taraf sig. 0,05. Rata rata nilai keterampilan menulis teks narasi peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC yaitu 25,85 lebih besar dari rata-rata nilai keterampilan menulis teks narasi peserta didik menggunakan model ekspositori yaitu 21,86. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi peserta didik kelas IV di Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru.
