Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mempresentasikan laporan hasil observasi secara berkelompok peserta didik kelas VIII D di SMP Negeri 177 Jakarta. Penelitian ini meggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis isi, yaitu menganalisis kemampuan mempresentasikan laporan hasil observasi peserta didik secara berkelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa tingkat kemampuan mempresentasikan laporan hasil observasi secara berkelompok peserta didik kelas VIII D berada di tingkat sedang sebanyak 59,25%. Kemampuan mempresentasikan setiap aspek juga di tingkatan sedang dengan nilai rata-rata antara 67 sampai 83. Aspek keakuratan dan keluasan gagasan memiliki rata-rata 72; aspek kemampuan argumentasi nilai rata-rata 67,4; aspek keruntutan penyampaian gagasan nilai rata-rata 77; aspek pemilihan kata niali rata-rata 79,2; aspek ketepatan kalimat nilai rata-rata 78; aspek kelancaran dan kewajaran nilai rata-rata 78,6; dan aspek kebermaknaan penuturan nilai rata-rata 74,8. Dengan ditemukannya tingkat kemampuan mempresentasikan laporan hasil observasi secara berkelompok kelas VIII SMP Negeri 177 Jakarta, dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pembuatan materi ajar. This study aims to determine the ability of eighth-grade students (class VIII D) at 177 State Junior High School of Jakarta to present observation report results in groups. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis, which analyzes the ability of students to present observation report results in groups. The results of this study indicate that the level of ability to present observation reports in groups among class VIII-D students is at a moderate level, accounting for 59.25%. The presentation ability for each aspect is also at a moderate level with a score between 67 and 83. The aspects of accuracy and breadth of ideas have an average score of 72; the argumentation ability aspect has an average score of 67,4; the coherence of idea delivery aspect has an average score of 77; the word choice aspect has an average score of 79,2; the sentence accuracy aspect has an average score of 78; the fluency and naturalness aspect has an average score of 78,6; and the meaningfulness of expression aspect has an average score of 74,8. With the identified level of group presentation ability for observation reports among eighth-grade students at 177 State Junior High School of Jakarta, these findings can serve as a reference for developing teaching materials.
