Abstract
Pengembangan media pembelajaran TABUKA (Tas Buah Angka) dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman anak usia 4-5 tahun terhadap konsep bilangan serta kurang bervariatifnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di lembaga PAUD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan (R&D) dan dengan model pegembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Media TABUKA dirancang dalam bentuk tas edukatif yang terdapat dua sisi, yaitu sisi papan hitung dan kantong ajaib sebagai sarana untuk membantu anak usia 4-5 tahun dalam memahami konsep bilangan. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, sedangkan uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap anak usia 4-5 tahun di salah satu lembaga TK wilayah kota Tangerang Selatan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media TABUKA dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam membantu anak memahami konsep bilangan dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media TABUKA merupakan alternatif media pembelajaran yang inovatif, menarik dan sesuai dengan perkembangan anak usia dini. ***** The development of the TABUKA (Tas Buah Angka/Fruit Number Bag) learning media is based on the low understanding of number concepts among children aged 4–5 years and the lack of variety in learning media used in mathematics instruction at early childhood education institutions. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). TABUKA is designed as an educational bag with two sides: a counting board and a "magic pocket," which serve as tools to help children aged 4–5 years understand number concepts. The validity test was conducted by material and media experts, while the feasibility test was carried out through observations of 4–5-year-old children in a kindergarten located in South Tangerang City. The results of the validation indicated that the TABUKA media is feasible and effective in helping children understand number concepts in an enjoyable manner. This study concludes that TABUKA is an innovative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate alternative learning media for early childhood education.
