Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbantuan media Emaze interaktif berbasis Emaze dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek uji coba terbatas melibatkan 25 siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP swasta di Jakarta Pusat. Emaze dipilih karena memiliki keunggulan dibanding media presentasi konvensional, seperti PowerPoint, yaitu dapat menyajikan materi secara visual dinamis, interaktif, dan mendukung transisi 3D yang merangsang imajinasi siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi angket kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerita fantasi. Sebelum penggunaan media, hanya 28% siswa yang mampu menulis cerita dengan struktur lengkap setelah pembelajaran dengan Emaze, meningkat menjadi 76%. Observasi guru juga mencatat peningkatan partisipasi dan kreativitas siswa dalam mengembangkan ide cerita. Dengan demikian, media Emaze dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran berbantuan media Emaze interaktif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi di jenjang SMP./This study aims to develop Emaze-based interactive learning media in learning to write fantasy story texts for grade VII junior high school students. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The limited trial subjects involved 25 seventh grade students in one of the private junior high schools in Central Jakarta. Emaze was chosen because it has advantages over conventional presentation media, such as PowerPoint, which can present material visually dynamically, interactively, and support 3D transitions that stimulate students' imagination. Data collection instruments included a needs questionnaire, expert validation sheet, and student response questionnaire. The learning outcomes showed an increase in students' ability to write fantasy stories. Before the use of media, only 28% of students were able to write stories with a complete structure after learning with Emaze, it increased to 76%. Teacher observation also noted an increase in students' participation and creativity in developing story ideas. Thus, Emaze media is declared feasible and effective to be used as an alternative interactive learning media in learning to write fantasy story texts at the junior high school level.
