Abstract

Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang dipelajari ditingkat dasar sekolah dasar mulai dari kelas rendah sampai kelas tinggi. Dalam pembelajaran matematika diperlukan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penyelesaian masalah yang diberikan. Untuk itu kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat diperlukan untuk pembelajaran matematika. Namun, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika khususnya di kelas IID belum menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Tujuan penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IIID mata pelajaran matematika materi penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel di SDN Rawamangun 01 Pagi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian kemmis dan taggart yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi serta refleksi. Peneliti melaksanakan tindakan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Analisis data yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus 1 78,87% meningkat 11,2% pada siklus 2 dengan presentase 90,07% dan aktivitas guru pada siklus 1 sebesar 79,29% meningkat 10,9% pada siklus 2 dengan skor sebesar 90,19%. Selain itu, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah penerapan siklus I diperoleh presentasi hasil sebesar 50% yaitu hanya 13 siswa yang mendapat nilai diatas 70, berarti kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa belum mencapai target yang dtentukan yaitu 80%. Sedangkan pada data siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 84% yaitu terdapat 21 siswa yang mendapatkan nilai diatas 70. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 34% yang menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dapat dikatakan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap materi penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel. ***** Mathematics is one of the subjects taught at the elementary school level, from lower grades to higher grades. In mathematics learning, critical thinking skills are required to solve problems. Therefore, critical thinking skills are essential for mathematics learning. However, students' critical thinking skills in mathematics, particularly in Grade IIID, have not shown satisfactory results. The objective of this study is to enhance students' critical thinking skills in Grade IIID mathematics, specifically in the presentation of data in tabular form, at SDN Rawamangun 01 Pagi. This research employs the Kemmis and Taggart research model, which consists of four stages: planning, implementation and observation, and reflection. The researcher implemented learning activities using the think pair share cooperative learning model. The data analysis that has been conducted shows that there was an increase in student learning activity in cycle 1 of 78.87%, increasing by 11.2% in cycle 2 with a percentage of 90.07% and teacher activity in cycle 1 of 79.29%, increasing by 10.9% in cycle 2 with a score of 90.19%. In addition in students critical thinking skills after the first cycle, the results showed a 50% presentation rate, meaning only 13 students scored above 70, indicating that students' critical thinking skills had not yet reached the target of 80%. Meanwhile, in cycle 2, there was an increase to 84%, with 21 students scoring above 70. This represents an increase of 34%, indicating that the application of the think pair share cooperative learning model can be considered successful in enhancing students' critical thinking skills regarding the presentation of data in table form.
