Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran IPAS khususnya materi siklus air dan tujuan dari penelitian ini, yakni mengembangkan media diorama siklus air berbasis contextual teaching and learning IPAS siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development dengan model pendekatan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Gagne melalui 5 tahapan, yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bendungan Hilir 01 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pengembangan media dalam bentuk wawancara, data kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner digunakan untuk melihat kelayakan media diorama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan media diorama siklus air berbasis contextual teaching and learning IPAS kelas V SD, berdasarkan hasil uji ahli dari ahli media mendapatkan skor 92%, ahli materi medapatkan skor 90,67%, ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor 78,67%, dan uji coba pengguna one to one mendapatkan skor rata-rata 90%, small group mendapatkan skor rata-rata 92,20%, serta field test mendapatkan skor rata-rata 85,07%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai media diorama, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media tersebut sangat layak digunakan pada pembelajaran IPAS materi siklus air pada siswa kelas V SD. ***** This research is motivated by the lack of learning media in science learning, especially water cycle material, and the purpose of this research is to develop water cycle diorama media based on contextual teaching and learning of science for fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research uses Research and Development with the ADDIE approach model developed by Robert Gagne through 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection in this study was obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were 30 fifth grade students of Bendungan Hilir 01 State Elementary School. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is used to describe the results of media development in the form of interviews, quantitative data using questionnaires is used to see the feasibility of diorama media. Based on the results of research and development of water cycle diorama media based on contextual teaching and learning of science for grade V elementary school, based on the results of expert tests from media experts getting a score of 92%, material experts getting a score of 90.67%, language experts getting a score of 78.67, and one to one user trials getting an average score of 90%, small groups getting an average score of 92.20%, and field tests getting an average score of 85.07%. Based on the results of research on diorama media, it can be concluded that the media is very feasible to be used in science learning on water cycle material for grade V elementary school students.
